Bristol Green Big Mucker wheelbarrow with, LARGE, 100 litre plastic pan

The Big Mucker 100 Litre Plastic Wheelbarrow is a heavy duty wheelbarrow that is equally suitable as a Stableyard Wheelbarrow, as a Garden Wheelbarrow,  a general purpose wheelbarrow or DIY Wheelbarrow for all heavy jobs around the home. The Yellow Big Mucker Wheelbarrow is part of our Mucker range of plastic wheelbarrows and because it has a plastic tub it is very popular for equestrian use or use for other animal waste or bedding as the plastic tub on this wheelbarrow won’t react to the animal waste. This ideal stableyard wheelbarrow and is also used in many vetinary practices.
 
This wheelbarrow is suitable as a stableyard wheelbarrow, garden wheelbarrow or an everyday DIY wheelbarrow. The Green mucker is part of our Mucker range of plastic wheelbarrows. Its plastic tub makes it very popular for equestrian use or other animal waste. This is because the plastic of the wheelbarrow wont get damaged by the animal waste. This wheelbarrow is already being used in many . veterinary practices. This wheelbarrow is fitted with steel skids to protect the frame legs to make sure that they do not wear. The galvanised steel framework is assembled using 4 bolts for extra strength.
 
This Wheelbarrow can be fitted with the choice of 2 wheel options. The first one being Pneumatic. This is best for rough terrain so that it can travel with ease. The second being the Puncture proof. This is good for almost anything. Especially when working in environments where sharp objects may be, like warehouses or industrial estates. We also sell replacements for our wheelbarrows like inner tubes for puncture repairs.
 
This wheelbarrow is one of our best sellers due to the fact that it very durable and can withstand high weights.

    Wow this is the best wheelbarrow

    This is the very best wheelbarrow for the big jobs in the garden. It is so easy to manoeuvre and with the pneumatic tyre I have no problems going over the bumpy ground. I am so glad there are some positives during this trying time.

    Several tweaks needed during assembly

    Top marks for prompt delivery, especially during current Covid-19 crisis. And once assembled, the barrow handles nicely - feels fairly rigid, the wheel bearing is very smooth. Could do with more of a forward slope on the front of the hopper, to balance the weight over the wheel better - but it&#039;s not too bad. The galvanising looks of variable quality, and I&#039;m concerned about the bolt heads pulling through the plastic over time - but so far, so good.

    However, assembly was pretty tedious, largely down to poor tolerances in manufacture. I had to:
    - Apply quite some force to get the two frame parts to align, so they could be bolted together.
    - Add substantial twist to the rear crossbar so that the hopper sat squarely on it, and the bolts were square through the plastic.
    - Turn round and bend the front support bar slightly to make up for the fact that the bolt hole wasn&#039;t drilled centrally.
    - Cut a small amount off each of the plastic wheel spacers, so that the wheel didn&#039;t lock up when the axle bolts were tightened.

    Final point is that in use, the front support rattles in it&#039;s support slots - bolts here would have been better, but presumably less flexible for the different wheel and body options.

    4* for its feel in use, but I guess I&#039;d have expected fewer teething problems for the price...

    This was delivered very promptly two days after ordering. It required assembly which is a bit fiddly for one person unless you have very long arms. It’s not exactly precision engineering but once put together it is perfectly robust and is now serving its purpose in the garden.
