A convenient adjustable cable-operated lever is mounted on the handlebars, allowing you to control the amount of material being released while working. The flow can be adjusted to suit your requirements, while pulling the lever fully back stops the distribution when needed. 

The spreader uses a simple manual push mechanism, so there is no need for batteries, motors or electrical power. As the unit moves forward, the mechanical flow bar releases the selected material in a consistent line beneath the spreader. This drop application helps create neat, straight coverage and reduces the risk of uneven patches or overlapping areas often associated with broadcast spreaders.
